The important thing is to stay in the downtown area- walking distance to all the wonderful things to do in our little city. Renting a car for a day is a great idea to explore the greater area, but you could certainly enjoy a weekend here without one, as long as you’re located in the right spot! All of these accommodations will keep you close enough to the action while giving you the peace to relax during your vacation.

 

Hotel Vermont

For those seeking a stylish and cozy stay, one that blends modern comforts with rustic design, Hotel Vermont is the perfect choice. It’s locally owned and embodies Vermont’s charm. You can expect locally sourced food at their restaurant, local products, craft beer, and a fireplace surrounded by couches in the lobby. Hotel VT also hosts some great events throughout the year.
