Breweries in Burlington
This is a Whistling Man Schooner hidden gem, our ‘hot take’ as the best brewery in Vermont. Flatbread is a beloved downtown Burlington restaurant that few realize has a brewery of their own. But inside this 19th-century apothecary you’ll find unforgettable brews. Just trust us!

BBCo’s tap list is the longest you’ll find in our city, but no matter which beer(s) you choose you’re sure to be impressed. If you tend to shy away from eccentric beers, we encourage you to give BBCo’s a try. See a triple chocolate cayenne porter? Go for it- we guarantee they’ll knock it out of the park. The restaurant is a sure thing, consistently delivering fun twists on brewery classics. Great for lunch and dinner!

Zero Gravity is Whistling Man’s favorite place to gather with friends. The vibe here is unmatched- someone get me their interior decorator’s number. Shuffleboard? Check. Pool? Check. The Switchback Ale is the perfect complement to a warm day at the beach and a winter day on the slopes. How did they create such a versatile and unique beer? As a 100% employee-owned business, they believe that good ethics lead to good beer. You’ve got to check out their newly renovated restaurant space! And don’t sleep on the collaborative spirits made with Appalachian Gap Distillery which is distilled from their beer. The cocktails are incredible.

Foam Brewers wins two awards in our book: 1. Most eclectic beers and 2. The best-located brewery in town. Nowhere else has views of our beautiful lake quite like Foam, and no other brewery is such a short walk from the Whistling Man Schooner Company. The fruited sours at Foam have cemented its status as a trailblazing brewery worth traveling from far and wide to visit.

Their timber framed building will leave you in awe, and their brew-snacks will leave you satisfied. Lawson’s beers are globally recognized as some of the best, and we couldn’t agree more.

Born out of the Austrian Alps, a visit to this brewery is a transportive experience. Buckle up your lederhosen and get ready for some bratwurst and kraut. This place has it all with two distinct buildings: one with a BBQ restaurant and the other with a brewery. The food and beer are renowned around the state, but one of our favorite parts about a visit to Pro Pig is their fantastic merch selection.
